” We [re] invented the curtain.
You are a designer and therefore you know it, it is your daily challenge: If you want something you have never did. You should do things never done.”
Artendis was born exactly for this: to help professionals like you to imagine and create unparalleled furnishing solutions, thanks to extra-ordinary curtains, that will give added value to your project.
Artendis is a brand-laboratory where every day a team of craftsmen-innovators reinvents curtains bringing design into a sector that has not seen new and interesting things since a long time.
We experiment, design and we manufacture never-before-seen high quality products in order to reverse the ordinary approach to the curtains: we never start from fabric.
Unlike the others - who only offer fabrics, sticks and little else - we mainly work on the suspension, which becomes a small artwork, beautiful to see and functional. The curtain furnishes even when is closed and cannot be seen.
For us, this means being craftsmen-innovators: attention to detail, tailor-made work and personalization, including listening to the needs of modern design, designing contemporary solutions, technology applied to living.
In the laboratory, in addition to the sewing machine, we have the 3D printer. We can afford not to put limits on creativity. We mold the shapes to our liking and the high quality materials we work are original and functional, never common and ordinary.
We put our expertise at your disposal. We will thus be able to design and create a model based on your exclusive design that will win over the end customer.
” History and mission.
Artendis comes from afar: it took 10 years of sector study in the worldwide and a considerable dose of courage and stubbornness.
We wanted not only to create a new product of excellence, but also to make current and contemporary the work of the curtain maker. To innovate the sector, restoring dignity and bringing it closer to young people.
But, creativity and craftsmanship alone are not enough. Technology and design are needed, ingredients that are now indispensable in any furniture sector.
A craftsman, if really wants to be an innovator, can't limit himself to proposing a fabric or a finish for the stick. It must get involved and confront the needs of contemporary furniture.
Ours is an ambitious project. A project who needed solid legs to walk on. we travelled to America, Europe, China, Japan and Russia, deepening problems and listening to the needs of our sector; defeating the skepticism of critics.
